This September, I’m going to be sweating it out and doing my best to run a 9km course over the Harbour Bridge, around Sydney's CBD and finishing at the Botanical Gardens, as part of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2015. I would like to remind everyone, that I am not much of a runner and I’ve certainly never run 9kmsbefore, so this is going to be tough!

My motivation is that it’s all for a great cause, as the funds I raise will go directly towards supporting the fantastic work of the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW). Could you please donate today to help out?

As many of you know, I am proud to be a part of the small and dedicated team at the FNPW, who are committed to protecting Australia’s incredible environment. I know first-hand that the money goes where it’s needed most. I’ve visited FNPW-funded projects and seen weeds being removed, bushland regenerated and native species thriving in their natural habitats as a result. FNPW also buys wilderness to protect within National Parks (which is also great because it means that you and I can also visit and enjoy them – and it’s protected forever). It also funds projects to conserve habitats, and save some of Australia’s most Endangered species.

Right now, you probably know better than most that the environment needs our support more than ever. With your help, we will make a difference!
