I'm taking part in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival 2015 and helping to raise funds for Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
 

A year and half ago, my dad was diagnosed with stage 3/4 brain cancer. He had the surgery straightaway and he survived. My family in China didn't tell me the bad news until my son and I went back for our yearly visit. No words can describe my pain when I saw what brain cancer did to my once healthy and energetic dad. He had been working hard all his life. Never took any holidays. Never complained not even when he was going through rounds of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. He loved his work, loved picking up my niece from school, loved being able to drive everywhere. Having his freedom and dignity taken away from him is so cruel. The worst thing is I can't do anything to help. It's heart breaking to see him go through these challenges.That's why I chose Cure Brain Cancer Foundation this year. I wish to help to raise as much money as possible. Wish new cure can be found soon so my dad can watch my son, who he dearly loves, grow up.
