Greetings from the Bridge Housing Harriers!

This year the Bridge Housing Harriers don their racing shoes for our second go at the Sydney Harbour Bridge Run to raise funds for Weave Youth & Community Services. We are excited that 27 of our staff members, with a range of abilities and fitness levels have registered to walk, jog and run the challenging 9km course and are looking forward immensely to the challenge (and a nice cup of tea afterwards!).

We appreciate and value your support and sponsorship for the charities and organisations we support through the Bridge Run. The fundraising helps power our way over the Harbour Bridge, into Pyrmont, through the CBD and back around through the Royal Botanic Gardens finishing at the iconic Opera House. Phew!

This year we have decided to raise money for Weave Youth & Community Services, Weave are a non-profit community organisation that have been working with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people, women, children and families in the City of Sydney and South Sydney areas for over 35 years. http://www.weave.org.au/b/

Bridge Housing provides affordable housing in the Sydney metropolitan area for a range of single people and households in housing need. We manage a number of housing programs assisting disadvantaged people to secure and maintain good quality accommodation, often in partnership with our support agencies who work with us to sustain tenancies for our most vulnerable clients, and build communities where we operate. https://www.bridgehousing.org.au/
