Friends,
As some of you know I am going to run the Sydney Marathon this year and my wonderful wife, Elaine, suggested I could raise some money for a cause I felt strongly about.
Headspace helps young people with all sorts of issues but in particular with mental health. We have read how the rate of youth suicide in young men is far higher than in girls and that self harm in young girls is far more prevalent than we thought. As our kids head into their teenage years and beyond I think it is crucial that services like Headspace are there to help them as they navigate through this, often tough, part of life.
So please please sponsor me to run the 42km's next month to make sure Headspace can keep helping the youngsters. This will be yours and my only chance as I do not intend to do this again!
